Pre-Concert Lobby Performances

TFO spotlights young and local musicians in the lobby of the Straz Center or Mahaffey Theater before a Masterworks, Pops, or Coffee concerts. Middle school, high school, collegiate, and community ensembles will be accepted, and ensembles can range in size from 3-30 members.  Due to space limitations for some performances, we may not always be able to accommodate larger size groups.  Lobby performance requests are filled on a first come, first served basis.  All performing groups will need to bring their own music stands, signage, and easels. TFO will provide chairs for the performers.

In addition to the opportunity to perform for hundreds of TFO patrons, all performing ensembles will receive the following at their scheduled lobby performance:

1. Free tickets for each performer and one guest to TFO’s performance
2. The opportunity to meet the conductor or soloists after the concert or during intermission (pending availability and schedule)
3. A social media shout-out from TFO (upon media consent for all participants under the age of 18)
