Michael Francis leads a night devoted to the great tradition of ballet music – from the breathtaking beauty of Tchaikovsky’s classic Swan Lake to the enthralling madness of the only piece to spark a riot at an orchestra concert, Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring. The concert starts with a different kind of movement and rhythm, Michael Abels’ Delights & Dances, a multicultural mix of jazz, blues, bluegrass and Latin elements from the composer best known for his Oscar-winning score to Get Out.

Michael Francis dirige una noche dedicada a la gran tradicion de la musica de ballet, desde la impresionante belleza del classico ‘El Lago de los Cisnes’ de Tchaikovsky, hasta la fascinante locura de la unica pieza que provoco un alboroto en un concierto de orquesta, ‘La Consagracion de la Primavera’ de Stravinsky.
