Yan Jiang Lu


Yan Jiang Lu (江 燕) has been a violinist with The Florida Orchestra since 1990. Yan Jiang received her bachelor’s degree in violin performance from Bowling Green State University and also holds a master’s degree from the University of New Orleans. At the age of 15, Yan Jiang joined the Guangzhou Symphony in China and performed as violin soloist with the orchestra in major music halls across the Canton Province. Since coming to the United States, she has also performed with the Toledo Symphony, New Orleans Symphony, and Baton Rouge Symphony.

In addition to her work with The Florida Orchestra, Yan Jiang Lu has a robust teaching career and is active within both the Music Teachers’ Association and The National Federation of Music Clubs.
