You’ll hear the dreamy beauty of Claude Debussy’s Clair de Lune, the fiery intensity of the “Roxanne Tango” from Moulin Rouge, and the lush, cinematic sweep of Alan Menken’s Beauty and the Beast Suite. Along the way, TFO’s James Riggs takes center stage in Jean Françaix’s The Flower Clock — a charming, colorful showcase for the oboe. Romantic, playful and full of atmosphere, it’s Paris brought to life in sound.
