Beethoven’s Violin Concerto: Masterworks
Spellbinding violinist Alexi Kenney makes his TFO debut in one of the most beloved concertos of all time, Beethoven’s Violin Concerto, conducted by Michael Francis. In Ma Vlast, Smetana composes a love letter to his Bohemian homeland in a series of symphonic poems. The evening does not end quietly. Janacek’s fierce, potent Taras Bulba will keep you on the edge of your seat.
We’re full of surprises. Every Masterworks concert has a surprise inside – a short mystery piece that connects to the program in an unexpected way. Each one is Michael Francis’ little secret.
