Join Master Chorale of Tampa Bay Artistic Director Heather Mitchell and The Florida Orchestra for an unforgettable community sing-along experience! Whether you’re a seasoned singer or just love to belt out your favorite tunes, this is your chance to take the stage, share your voice, and feel the magic of performing live music.

We will go over text, pronunciation, and rhythms before meeting with the Choir Directors.

  • The dress rehearsal with orchestra on May 19 is required, but we encourage you to attend as many choral rehearsals as possible to become familiar with and to work on the music with our rehearsal leaders. 
  • You can attend any rehearsal at any location. 
  • You do not need to know how to read music, but it will help if you have some choral experience. 
  • To help you practice, we will provide a playlist. 
  • We will send out an email when your folder is ready to pick up at TFO offices before the first rehearsal, or you can pick it up at your first choral rehearsal. 
  • We will upload the music online if you’d like to look at it before the first rehearsal. 
  • We will provide an official TFO Sing Out T-shirt. Please wear black bottoms and comfortable shoes. 
  • Yes! As long as it is a black binder, please feel free to use your own. Just let us know.  
  • Yes! We are always looking for volunteers to help with sign-in at rehearsals and to organize items prior to the first rehearsal. Please reach out to Alec Brown, Manager of Education and Community Impact: abrown@floridaorchestra.org.
