What is the Annual Fund?
Ticket revenue only covers about 33% of TFO’s costs, so we depend on generosity of our community to support everything we do – from Masterworks in the concert halls to free Pops in the Park to Teaching Artists in schools.
We work tirelessly to make live music accessible for everyone. Your Annual support makes a direct impact on The Florida Orchestra’s mission to build our Tampa Bay community through the transformative power of music, now and for generations to come.
Did you know?
There are virtuosos among us! TFO is made up of 67 full-time professional musicians who live in Tampa Bay, led by internationally acclaimed Music Director Michael Francis.
TFO plays more than 130 concerts in 20 venues each season across Tampa Bay.
More than 80,000 people attended TFO events last season at little or no cost to them. Through our Classical Kids program, kids and teens ages 5-18 get in free to all Tampa Bay Times Masterworks concerts.
TFO’s Youth Concerts bring students to concerts we create specifically them, many of them attending for the first time.
TFO is always introducing new programs! Last season’s new Health & Wellness Series brought the healing power of music directly to people who needed it most.
